Services

CNC Machining

The MSD Maker Spaces is home to a full-bed Multicam SR2412vi CNC Machine, providing CNC routing services in a range of materials including timber, foam plastics and thin metal. The MultiCam CNC router has a cutting area of 2400mm L x 1200mm W x 100mm.

The pricing and quotes for commercial jobs include:

  • Material costs

  • Time to set-up file

  • Time to operate the machine

The pricing to set-up the file and operate the machines is calculated per hour.

The hourly charge rate will vary between $85 - $120 depending on the difficulty of the job.

Delivery and Pick-up Information

You can pick up your completed job at the MSD Fab Lab located on the ground floor of the Glyn Davis Building (Melbourne School of Design) at the Parkville Campus.
